Our Location

The Galgorm Castle Fairy Trail is set within the beautiful historic grounds of Galgorm Castle, just a short drive from Ballymena in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Surrounded by ancient woodland, manicured gardens and the grand castle itself, the trail offers a truly magical setting for a family day out.

With free on-site parking, accessible paths and a welcoming visitor area with refreshments, we have made it as easy as possible for families to enjoy everything the trail has to offer.

Opening Hours: The trail is open daily from 10am to 5pm during the spring and summer months, and 10am to 4pm during autumn and winter. Last entry is one hour before closing.

Yes, the main trail route is a firm, level path suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There is one optional woodland loop that may be more challenging for some visitors, but the primary trail is fully accessible.

We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads throughout the trail. Water bowls are available at the visitor area, and waste bins are provided along the route. We ask that owners clean up after their pets to keep the trail magical for everyone.

Absolutely. Our visitor area serves a range of hot and cold drinks, freshly baked treats and light meals. It is the perfect place to relax after your trail adventure.

Walk-ins are always welcome during standard opening hours. However, for special events, group visits and birthday parties, we recommend booking ahead to guarantee your place and avoid disappointment.
